1. When I read how my Savior was nailed to the cross,

For the sins of the world to atone,

Oh, I feel so unworthy such suff’ring and loss,

And the saints all rejoice in the Lord,

I am happy in Jesus, and lost in His love,

4. And when others proclaim that salvation is free,
